THE  HUMAN  SANCTUARY  AND  TEMPLE  OF  GOD,  part 3  quotes

1)     “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things [only allow these types of information access into your mind and memory].  Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.” Philippians 4:4-9.

“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ”. Philippians 1:6.

2)    ”...the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting.  Amen.” 1 Timothy 6:15-16.

As God alone is immortal, then all of mankind, including their inner spirit and soul, are simply nothing more than mortal.
“Shall mortal man be more just than God? shall a man be more pure than his maker?” Job 4:17.

Since all human beings are mortal and not immortal, then the only way for any of us to gain immortality is by connecting ourselves directly with Jesus Christ.
“And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.  He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life....And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.” 1 John 5:11-12, 20.

“Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed [at Christ’s second coming], In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.” 1 Corinthians 15:51-54.

3)   Our inner self is what makes us an individual person that differs from all other human beings ever born.  It is closely connected with our mind, but is not the same as our mind.
“And be renewed in the spirit of your mind”. Ephesians 4:23.

“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God...with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.” Matthew 22:37.

These texts show us that our spirit or soul and our mind are closely interrelated, but there is still a difference between them.  This difference is further shown in the following text:
“For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my [mental] understanding is unfruitful.  What is it then?  I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.” 1 Corinthians 14:14-15.

This again shows that there is a difference between our spirit or soul or inner self and our mental processes.
But this verse also reveals something truly amazing, and which is also a key factor in being saved.  This text states that those who were followers of God were so filled with the Holy Spirit that they were able to pray, speak and sing in an unknown tongue without their mind understanding the words they were speaking!  This amazing fact of truth reveals that our spirit or soul is powerful enough to control our mind which in turn then controls our body!
This fact of truth is also a key factor in the process of salvation.  This is because if we truly allow our soul to be so fully and completely cleansed from all filthiness to the point that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit can dwell in us as their Temple, then truly They will rule in our life to do God’s good pleasure, and thus bring us to perfection and eternal life!
“...work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.  For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” Philippians 2:12-13.

This text also reveals another very important truth in this issue.  We are to work in agreement and in unity with God who is working in us by taking control of our soul in order to do of His good pleasure.  This means that God is controlling us with our continued willful and constant consent and help, and the outcome of this agreed upon unity is a very positive one – our ultimate salvation.  So with God dwelling and ruling in our spirit with our constant consent shows that it is really a joint partnership based upon mutual agreement, and it has to be in this way because God will never control us against our will.

4)    If we are not followers of God, and we allow our spirit to be fully and completely filled with all evil and wickedness to the point that Lucifer and his evil angels can dwell in us as their Temple, then truly they will rule in our life to do of their evil pleasure, and thus bring us downward to destruction!
“As they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with a devil.  And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake”. Matthew 9:32-33.

“Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.”  Matthew 12:22.

“And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.  And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains: Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.  And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.  But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him, And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God?  I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.  For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit....And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.  And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done.  And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind”. Mark 5:1-9, 14-15 (see also Matthew 8:28-33; Luke 8:26-40).

These verses also reveal a very important fact in this issue.  You will notice that each one of these individuals had the Devil or his evil angels dwelling and ruling in them and in control of their inner self which then controlled their mind and body.  This could only have occurred with their initial willful consent and help to allow the Devil into their soul by choosing to live in wickedness.
All of these individuals were doing things that they would not naturally consent to do.  Some could no longer speak, or see; another lost his reason and left his home and loved ones to dwell naked in a grave yard and spend his time cutting himself and crying.  This then plainly shows us all that once Lucifer was in control of their soul then he began ruling over them without their continued willful and constant consent and help, and the outcome was a very negative one – their ultimate destruction.  So this means that if we allow the Devil to dwell and rule in our soul that even though it initially began as a partnership based upon mutual agreement to live in sin, yet it will eventually turn into Satan dominating over every aspect of our lives.  This is because Lucifer is a self-serving tyrant, and he will always control us against our will if we ever give him the chance.

5)   God is seeking to save us and Lucifer is seeking to destroy us!
"And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come...For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost." Luke 19:9-10.

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour". 1 Peter 5:8.

The stark reality is that every one of us are either allowing our soul to be made clean so that the holy Godhead can dwell and rule in us and we can be saved.  Or we are allowing our spirit to be made wicked so that the Devil and his evil angels can dwell and rule in us and we can be lost.  But the choice is ours to make, because neither God nor Lucifer can force themselves upon us.  It is left up to us as free moral agents to choose whom will dwell and rule in us!
“Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.  And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve”. Joshua 24:14-15.

But even if you have lived a life so full of wickedness that Lucifer and his fallen angels are dwelling and ruling in you in some or all areas of your life, yet there is still hope!
“And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.” Joel 2:32.

“For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him [Jesus Christ] shall not be ashamed.  For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:11-13.

This means that any one of us, by choosing to have faith in and to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, can be completely freed and delivered from any and all of Lucifer’s control!  And even if you are totally possessed, just like that individual in the tombs, you can even then still find deliverance through Jesus!  That possessed individual so longed to be delivered from Lucifer’s tyrannical control over him that when he finally saw the Saviour, he willed himself to run down intending to worship Jesus.  But when he got there, the devil controlled him and prevented him from speaking any of the words he so desperately wanted to speak.  Yet Jesus read his heart, saw his faith, and heard his unspoken urgent plea, and then lovingly and mercifully freed him from Satan’s total control!
So if you find that you cannot control some or maybe all of your actions which shows that Satan is in control of some or all aspects of your life, then there is still hope!  You know that you can also find total and lasting freedom and cleansing from all of Lucifer’s control in your life, as well as from all of your wickedness.  Just choose to have faith in, and flee to Jesus Christ just as you are.  Jesus will see and hear your urgent plea, and He will indeed lovingly and mercifully free you from all of Lucifer’s control over you, and you will indeed be saved from destruction!
“And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst....All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.  For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.  And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.  And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.” John 6:35, 37-40.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” John 3:16-18.

6)     Who greatly desires you and me to be cleansed in our soul or spirit?
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.  Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.  Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.  Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.  But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” James 1:17-22.

“Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” 2 Corinthians 7:1.

Why is God so desirous that all His people become cleansed from all filthiness and then perfect holiness in our inner self?
“And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to show unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.  Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book....for the time is at hand.  He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.  And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” Revelation 22:6-7, 10-12.

7)     How does this cleansing process begin?
“Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.  Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.  Make me to hear joy and gladness...Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.  Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.  Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.  Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.” Psalms 51:6-12.

“Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.  A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.  And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.  And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.  I will also save you from all your uncleannesses”. Ezekiel 36:25-29.
