"LET THERE BE LIGHT" Ministries
THE HEAVENLY SANCTUARY AND TEMPLE OF GOD, part 4 quotes
1) After finishing the cleansing work in the Most Holy Place and then in the Holy Place, and now having all the confessed sins of all the people removed from the Sanctuary and placed upon himself, the high priest then went out of the First Apartment, took the live Scapegoat and then “shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat” (Leviticus 16:20-21). This meant that the high priest was taking all this immense weight of the burden of sin from off of himself and was now transferring it onto the Scapegoat for it to bear instead.
Then the high priest gave this Scapegoat into the hands of “a fit man” who took this goat far away out of the camp of Israel and “into the wilderness...and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness” (Leviticus 16:21-22). This Scapegoat was not slain, its blood was not spilled to atone for any sins at all, but it was itself to “bear upon him all their iniquities” and to wander all alone in “a land not inhabited” (Leviticus 16:22), where it ultimately saw death and never returned to bother God’s people again.
After sending away the Scapegoat by the hand of a Fit Man, the high priest then went back into the First Apartment, and took off all his high priestly garments. Then he put on the garments of the common priests’, and came out of the First Apartment, leaving these other holy garments behind (Leviticus 16:23-24).
The carcasses of both the young bullock, as well as the goat upon which the Lord’s lot fell, that were each sacrificed as sin offerings connected with the Atonement and the removal of all sin from off the Sanctuary and onto the high priest were taken outside of the camp of Israel and burnt up and completely consumed by fire until nothing remained of them but ashes (Leviticus 16:27).
2) The following scenario of 11 different consecutive occurrences is mainly derived from Revelation chapters 7, 15, 16, 20, 22; Daniel 12; 1 Corinthians 15; 1 Thessalonians 4; and 2 Thessalonians 2.
Occurrence #1 - Jesus Christ – who is our Lord God Michael – ceases to intercede before God for any human being.
“And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people...” Daniel 12:1. (NOTE: The Hebrew word for “stand” used here is “amad”, which translates and means “to stand, to cease, to leave, raise up” – Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance, word #5975. So the word “stand” used here indicates that this person was rising or standing up in order to leave because something had ceased and was no longer to be continued on past this point.)
Occurrence #2 - After standing up and ceasing His intercession, Christ then closes probation upon all the inhabitants of earth by declaring: “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.” Revelation 22:11.
Occurrence #3 - Then Christ will open the door of the First Apartment and step outside of the heavenly Sanctuary.
“And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened...” Revelation 15:5.
Since “the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened”, this shows that Christ is no longer ministering within the Most Holy Place or the Holy Place, and this open door also allows both apartments of the entire Sanctuary to be seen and opened up to view.
After Christ’s ascension in 31 A.D., He had opened the door or veil into the First Apartment of the heavenly Sanctuary as we are told in Revelation 4:1, but the door or veil into the Second Apartment remained closed. Then on October 22, 1844 Christ closed the door to the First Apartment and no man could open it, and then He opened the door into the Second Apartment or the Most Holy Place of the heavenly Sanctuary which no man could close, as we are told in Revelation 11:19, and 3:7-8. And once Christ’s atoning work is complete, then He exits the Second Apartment and opens the door of the First Apartment and then steps outside of the Sanctuary leaving both doors into the Sanctuary open to view the entire Temple as we are told in Revelation 15:5. This then proves that Christ has finished His work in both Apartments, and that He has finally completed all of His ministerial work in the heavenly Sanctuary!
Occurrence #4 - Once outside of the First Apartment, Christ then takes the Scapegoat or Lucifer and confesses upon Satan all the sins that had been placed upon Christ the Messiah from off the Sanctuary through the process of the Atonement. This mass of sin is immense because it covers the entire 6000 year time span in which the plan of salvation was in effect and had been offered to all of mankind. And since Lucifer is the author of all sin, then it is only proper that he should be the one who ultimately has to bear this immense mass of sin and also suffer its punishment!
3) Occurrence #5 - After all this mass of forgiven sins have been fully placed and contained on Lucifer, then Christ commits Lucifer into the keeping of the Fit Man.
Anciently this Fit Man’s sole work was to take this Scapegoat away from the camp of God’s people and far enough out into the wilderness that it could never find its way back. This was because if the Scapegoat did come back into the camp then it signified that all these sins that were once forgiven had now come back onto God’s people once again, and thus the Atonement would have failed for them! The work of this Fit Man was of the utmost importance to faithfully perform, because if he failed then all these once forgiven sins were believed to have returned back onto God’s people. If this really occurred then they were no longer cleansed, but were now contaminated again with their sins, and thus would be lost!
But why is he called a Fit Man? Goats are notoriously stubborn; they want to lead themselves and do not like to be led, and they will fight, bite, kick, butt, dig in their hoofs and do anything and everything they can in order to escape and avoid going where they do not want to go. So in order to lead this Scapegoat out into a desolate wilderness and away from its food supply, its companions and its comfortable and familiar home, the individual doing so must be extremely strong, well fit and capable of enduring long drawn out battles because they are going to have to constantly force this stubborn goat all the way out into the wilderness!
But when is this Fit Man chosen to do this vitally important work? The Hebrew word for “fit” used here is “ittiy”, and it translates and means “timely or fit” (Strong’s, word #6261). So this Fit Man is chosen in a timely manner from among all living candidates at some point leading up to and obviously before his services were needed on the Day of Atonement. So even though he was already in good shape, he still had a little time remaining in order to get himself fully and completely prepared to perform these vitally important services once the time arrived. And once he begins his work, he can not rest, but must do all he can in refusing to allow this Scapegoat to escape and again spread sin among God’s followers.
Who can this Fit Man be in this current period of the Atonement? At the time probation closes for the world, there is only one group of God’s followers who are still alive and who are then capable of doing this specific work. The only group of God’s followers who are still alive after probation closes are the 144,000, because at that time all other followers of God have either been martyred or have fallen asleep in Jesus!
“And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them [meaning that they had been judged righteousness during the time of Atonement]; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled [before the Atonement ended and probation closed].” Revelation 6:9-10.
“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon [the United States of America]. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him [Roman Catholicism], and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast [Apostate Protestant churches united together as one and using the might of the USA to enforce their decrees] that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” Revelation 13:11-17.
“And I saw thrones [in heaven during the 1000 years], and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” Revelation 20:4.
These verses reveal to us that there is going to be great persecution and martyrdom of God’s true followers all the way up until probation closes for the world! When this great persecution is all over, the only people of God who will still be living at that time will be the 144,000 saints who are scattered all over the face of the earth. This then shows us that all other followers of God have either been martyred for their faith or have fallen asleep in Jesus, and are now resting in their graves.
After Christ has finished His atoning work and has fully cleansed the heavenly Sanctuary and all of God’s followers, then probation closes and Christ is no longer interceding before God as a Mediator. This then would mean that at this time the 144,000 would be absolutely pure, spotless and sinless – as if they had never committed sin in the first place – and this is while they are still living in fallen and sinful human flesh. In this righteous and completely sinless condition they would then be forced to endure all the temptations, trials, and intense pressures that the Devil and all his agents could bring against them in order to try and get them to commit sin in this short period of time before Christ comes, and every one of these 144,000 individuals must endure and maintain their faith and firm hold upon God and His truth under this intense unimaginable barrage. If any of them in their sinless condition should choose to commit sin, it would actually be tantamount to allowing Satan to escape and again bring sin back onto God’s fully cleansed people – including those who are resting in their graves, and thus the plan of salvation would be ruined for these precious souls! But if all the 144,000 saints remain faithful under everything that the devil and his agents can throw against them, then they will have proven to the entire universe that God’s law can be kept – even while living in a fallen sinful nature, just like Christ proved it could when He lived in a sinful and fallen human nature, and then the plan of salvation can continue to benefit all!
4) Occurrence #6 - After Christ gives Lucifer symbolically into the hands of the Fit Man, then Christ briefly goes back into the First Apartment, takes off His priestly garments and then puts on the garments of vengeance.
“And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him. For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak. According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompense to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompense.” Isaiah 59:16-18.
These verses show us that Christ as our High Priest was first clothed in the priestly garments of righteous, and then He took these off and put on the garments of vengeance in order to render punishment according to the wicked deeds which all of his enemies had committed.
Occurrence #7 - After Christ puts on these garments of vengeance, then how will all of His enemies be recompensed or rewarded for all their sins?
“And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles. And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever. And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled. And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.” Revelation 15:6-8, 16:1.
“...and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.” Revelation 12:1.
These 7 last plagues will fall in succession upon the head of all the wicked still living, and at this same time the time of Jacob’s trouble will occur wherein Satan tries his best to escape the hands of the Fit Man by desperately trying to cause the 144,000 to commit sin!
5) During the falling of these plagues, we were told that the heavenly Sanctuary will be filled with smoke from the glory of God, and no man will be able to enter into the Temple until the seven last plagues, as well as Jacob’s time of trouble, are fulfilled. This again shows us that at that time probation has closed and Christ is no longer interceding before God in the Sanctuary, and since smoke completely fills both Apartments then no work at all is going on in the heavenly Sanctuary. And why? Because the attention of all are fixed upon the final struggle and intense battle taking place on the earth between Lucifer – the Scapegoat and the Fit Man – the 144,000!
It is during this time of Jacob’s trouble, that every single one of the 144,000 will be forced to choose to either remain faithful to God and not to sin and thus retain their sinlessness, or to give in to Satan and the clamors of their fallen sinful human nature and commit sin and thus lose their sinlessness!
If all 144,000 living saints choose to remain faithful and resist every one of Satan’s most devious tricks and snares, then they will successfully accomplish their mission and Satan will indeed be led out into the wilderness where he will remain all alone on a completely desolate earth. But if even one of the 144,000 should choose to commit sin in even the slightest way, then they will not complete their mission, the Devil will escape and sin will again come back onto a once fully cleansed people, thus ruining the plan of salvation for them!
I hope you can see that just as everything dealing with the plan of salvation being carried out hinged upon the completely sinless Jesus Christ remaining sinless while He was living in fallen sinful human flesh and was intensely being harassed and tempted by the Devil, so now everything dealing with the plan of salvation remaining valid hinges upon the completely sinless 144,000 remaining sinless while they are living in fallen sinful human flesh and also being intensely harassed and tempted by Lucifer! This is why the eyes of all heavenly beings are intensely watching this battle between the 144,000 and Lucifer – because it involves the fulfilling of the plan of salvation for mankind!
This means that the plan of salvation not only hinged upon Jesus Christ becoming human and remaining sinless and faithful to God His entire life while only living in fallen and sinful human flesh and nature, but it also partially hinges upon 144,000 fallen and sinful humans being made sinless and who will then also keep God’s law perfectly while living in fallen sinful flesh and nature! This fact would then forever prove to the entire universe that God’s law can indeed be kept by common human beings, and thus forever remove any doubts and claims that Jesus was really the only One who could do so because He had some kind of advantage by being both God and human in one Person.
As the outcome of this battle between the Fit Man and the Scapegoat at that time is so vitally important, then will the sinless 144,000 remain sinless during this terrible time of Jacob’s trouble wherein the Devil and all of his agents try their best to get them to sin? Will they allow Lucifer the Scapegoat to escape and thus bring sin back onto God’s cleansed people who are patiently waiting in their graves and thus ruin their chances of salvation?
“Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he [the Fit Man or 144,000] shall be saved out of it.” Jeremiah 30:7.
It is prophesied that every single one of the 144000 will not choose to sin, but they will retain their sinlessness, and thus prove – just like Jesus did – that the law of God can be kept even while living in fallen sinful human nature! This is the reason why the 144,000 stand with Jesus Christ “on the mount Sion” (Revelation 14:1)! This is the reason why they sing “a new song before the throne” of God that only they “could learn” (Revelation 14:3)! This is the reason why they “follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth” because they are completely “without fault before the throne of God” (Revelation 14:4-5)! The 144,000 have indeed retained their sinlessness, they have indeed earned the right to be directly and closely connected with Jesus throughout eternity, and have thereby become “the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb” (Revelation 14:4)!
6) Since the 144,000 will remain faithful to God under any and all trials and pressures, and have become the firstfruits unto God and to Christ, then the plan of salvation remains valid and can continue to be carried out. This then allows all the promises of God to now be fulfilled upon the righteous dead, and they can now be harvested from off the earth to receive their promised gift of eternal life.
“Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. [And what allows these righteous dead to be raised back to life?] Come, my people [those still living just before Christ comes = 144,000], enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place [heavenly Sanctuary] to punish the inhabitants of the earth [with the plagues] for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.” Isaiah 26:19-21.
“And these all [the faithful righteous dead of all ages], having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise [of eternal life]: God having provided some better thing for us [those still living], that they [the righteous dead] without us [the living saints, 144,000 in number remaining sinless] should not be made perfect [raised immortal to live forever].” Hebrews 11:39-40.
7) Occurrence #8 - After the 144,000 victoriously pass through Jacob’s time of trouble, Christ then comes the second time, the righteous dead are resurrected, the living saints are caught up into the air along with these righteous dead, and together they meet their Lord in the clouds to be forever with Him.
“Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” 1 Corinthians 15:51-55.
“He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it. And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.” Isaiah 25:8-9.
“For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him [back to heaven]. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17.
“Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.” Revelation 20:6.
8) Occurrence #9 - At Christ’s second coming all the wicked still living shall be destroyed “with the brightness of his coming” (2 Thessalonians 2:8). The entire surface of the earth will then become completely desolate, and Satan will be bound on this desolate and lonely earth for 1000 years.
“I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light. I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly. I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled. I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger. For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.” Jeremiah 4:23-27.
“And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.” Revelation 20:2-3.
9) Occurrence #10 - After the 1000 years are over, all the wicked dead will be raised, and then together with Lucifer, they will all hear the sentence of the judgement given against them (Revelation 20:11-13). Then the sentence of the judgment will be executed and fire from God comes down upon them and turns the earth into a blazing lake of fire (Revelation 20:9-10, 14-15). This intense fiery lake completely burns up all sin, sinners, evil angels and even Lucifer himself until nothing remains except ashes – just like what happened to the bullock and goat that were burnt to ashes outside of the camp and mercy of God. And it will be as if they never existed at all!
“For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.” Malachi 4:1, 3.
“For the day of the LORD is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head. For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain, so shall all the heathen drink continually, yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though they had not been. But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.” Obadiah 1:15-17.
10) After both Apartments of the heavenly Sanctuary itself are fully cleansed and all the confessed sins of God’s redeemed are forever placed upon Lucifer’s head, then the outer court of the heavenly Sanctuary – which is the earth itself – will also be finally cleansed by the lake of fire burning up all sin and sinners. God’s entire universe will then become entirely free from all sin, and it will be as if sin had never occurred in the first place!
Occurrence #11 - After sin and sinners have all been forever destroyed, God will then recreate the earth, move His dwelling place from heaven to the earth so that He can personally dwell among all His redeemed children. All of God's immortal children will then live forever in sinless happiness and bliss, and God will once again rule over a completely sin-free universe! The Atonement will have been made, the plan of salvation will have been carried out, and all because of the great infinite love of both God our Father and Jesus Christ our Elder Brother!
“For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying....And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them. And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.” Isaiah 65:17-19, 21-25.
“The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.” Isaiah 11:6-9.
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.” Revelation 21:1-7.
