For decades, Seventh-Day Adventists have been taught that if they separated from their church they could not form another church organization, and if they did they would be in apostasy against God. And for many years, those who have chosen to separate from the church, because of its corruption and apostasy, have been content to remain mostly independent atoms without any form of organization or unity whatsoever. Even though there are Scriptures and Spirit of Prophecy statements plainly declaring that God desires His faithful people to unite together under a simple form of Gospel organization, yet God’s separated people pass by these inspired words believing that they were written for the SDA church, and not for these last days just before the second coming of Christ.

But this particular belief that, outside of the SDA church, no organization can be formed without displeasing God and losing salvation through apostasy, is not found to be clearly taught in either the Bible or the Spirit of Prophecy. Some will quickly protest and declare: “But Ellen White herself plainly stated so!” Well then, let us closely examine her statement:

“The Lord has declared that the history of the past shall be rehearsed as we enter upon the closing work. Every truth that He has given for these last days is to be proclaimed to the world. Every pillar that He has established is to be strengthened. We cannot now step off the foundation that God has established. We cannot now enter into any new organization; for this would mean apostasy from the truth. --Manuscript 129, 1905.” Selected Messages, book 2, p 390.

Who was Ellen White warning in 1905 not to step off the foundation of the truth already established and form a new church organization? Was she warning those SDA’s who might choose to separate from the church? Or was she warning the leadership of the SDA church? Ellen White plainly states who she was warning!

“The enemy of souls has sought to bring in the supposition that a great reformation was to take place among Seventh-day Adventists, and that this reformation would consist in giving up the doctrines which stand as the pillars of our faith, and engaging in a process of reorganization. Were this reformation to take place what would result? The principles of truth that God in His wisdom has given to the remnant church would be discarded. Our religion would be changed. The fundamental principles that have sustained the work for the last fifty years would be accounted as error. A new organization would be established. Books of a new order would be written. A system of intellectual philosophy would be introduced. The founders of this system would go into the cities, and do a wonderful work. The Sabbath, of course would be lightly regarded, as also the God who created it. Nothing would be allowed to stand in the way of the new movement. The leaders would teach that virtue is better than vice, but God being removed they would place their dependence on human power, which, without God, is worthless. Their foundation would be build on the sand, and storm and tempest would sweep away the structure.

“Who has authority to begin such a movement? We have our Bibles. We have our experience, attested to by the miraculous working of the Holy Spirit. We have a truth that admits of no compromise. Shall we not repudiate everything that is not in harmony with this truth?

“I am instructed to say that those who would tear away the foundation that God has laid are not to be accepted as the teachers and leaders of His people. We are to hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end.” Letter 242, October, 1903, Battle Creek Letters, p 79, 81-82 (see also Selected Messages, book 1, p 204-206 & Special Testimonies, Series B#7, p 39-42).

So Ellen White was not warning those who would be forced to separate from the SDA church because of its apostasy -- that they could never form another church organization after God’s order. But she was plainly warning the leadership of the SDA church that if they formed a new organization, “this would mean apostasy from the truth.”

Sadly, the SDA church leadership rejected this warning, brought in this satanic reformation, and over the decades have successfully reorganized the entire SDA church and established it upon a new organization (for proof of this, please see the book, “The Abomination of Desolation and Church History”).

As this is true, it plainly reveals that the SDA church has stepped off the foundation that God has established. They have entered into a new organization, and they have apostatized from the truth! And God is continually working to awaken His faithful people to this sad fact.

There is an ever growing awareness among the membership in regards to this great apostasy of their SDA church. Multitudes are choosing to separate themselves from this corrupt church, are choosing to worship God in the beauty of truth and holiness in their very homes; and there are hundreds and thousands of these independent home churches around the world!

But is it God’s will that His separated people in these last days should avoid organizing together under the simple principles of truth and order which He has already endorsed. Is it God’s will that His separated people continue to remain disconnected from one another like independent atoms?

“Some have advanced the thought that, as we near the close of time, every child of God will act independently of any religious organization. But I have been instructed by the Lord that in this work there is no such thing as every man's being independent. The stars of heaven are all under law, each influencing the other to do the will of God, yielding their common obedience to the law that controls their action. And, in order that the Lord's work may advance healthfully and solidly, His people must draw together.

“Some workers pull with all the power that God has given them, but they have not yet learned that they should not pull alone. Instead of isolating themselves let them draw in harmony with their fellow laborers. Unless they do this, their activity will work at the wrong time and in the wrong way. They will often work counter to that which God would have done, and thus their work is worse than wasted.” Testimonies, vol 9, p 258-259.

“‘God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.’ There was order in the church when Christ was on the earth, and after his departure, order was strictly observed among the disciples. And now, in these last days, when God is bringing his children into the unity of the faith, there is more real need of order than ever before; for as God seeks to unite his people, Satan and his angels strive to destroy this unity.

“As all the different members of the human system unite to form the entire body, and each performs its office in obedience to the intelligence that governs the whole, so the members of the church of Christ should be united in one symmetrical body, subject to the sanctified intelligence of the whole.” Review and Herald, February 16, 1911.

“In spite of all the good qualities a man may have, he cannot be a good soldier if he acts independently of those connected with him. Occasional and uncertain movements, however earnest and energetic, will in the end bring defeat. Take a strong team of horses. If, instead of both pulling together, one should suddenly jerk forward and the other pull back, they would not move the load, notwithstanding their great strength. So the soldiers of Christ must work in concert, else there will be a mere concourse of independent atoms. Strength, instead of being carefully treasured to meet one great end, will be wasted in disconcerted, meaningless efforts. In union is strength. A few men and women who unite together, having the glory of God in view, will be growing in strength and wisdom, and gaining new victories. There is much hard work to be done for the Master, and much wisdom must be brought into the work.” Signs of the Times, September 7, 1891.

As it is God's will that His people unite together and organize under a simple form of Gospel Order, what name should we call ourselves by? Would we continue to call ourselves Seventh-Day Adventists? Does the name Seventh-Day Adventist belong to the church, or does it belong to individuals? Or should we call ourselves by a completely different name. Let us take some time to investigate into this "name" issue.

In the late 1970's, God began in earnest to awaken Seventh-day Adventists to the growing apostasy and corruption within their denomination. As a result, multitudes of awakened SDA’s started holding meetings outside of church control where these issues were presented and discussed. Some even began to hold their own church services independent of the church.

As more and more SDA’s became aware of their church’s apostasy, they started spreading the Three Angels’ Messages far and wide. This Independent work of evangelism became a big problem for the SDA church because most of these Independent groups declared themselves to be Seventh-day Adventists. But why would this be a big problem for the church?

Starting in the late 1950's, the SDA church gradually began to set aside those peculiar Bible truths which were out of harmony with the teachings of the Sunday-keeping churches in order to stand with them upon a common platform of belief. (For documentation of this, please write). This apostasy allowed the SDA church to join in unity with these churches, including the Roman Catholic church, as well as to be part of the National Council and World Council of Churches. (For documentation of this, please write). In doing this, the SDA church had to agree not to proselytize from the membership of their fellow united churches but would only seek converts from non-Christians. So when the Independent groups began to evangelize by preaching the particular truths which the SDA church had given up, and then identified themselves as being Seventh-day Adventists, the church came under angry protests from their Babylonian partners. This placed the SDA church in a real predicament.

To reassure their Babylonian brethren that they had not changed, that they still did not believe the Three Angels’ Messages anymore, and that these Independent groups were not speaking for the SDA church, they promised that they would work to try and prevent these groups from presenting these unpopular truths.

To try and achieve this the SDA church decided to trademark the names "Adventist" and "Seventh-day Adventist" in 1981 (reg #1,176,153 and reg #1,777,185, see Adventist Review, November 24, 1983). This was done so that they could legally control the usage of these names, as well as to persecute through the civil courts any and all who continue to use these trademarks without written permission from the General Conference.

The SDA church hired the services of a trademark attorney named Vincent L. Ramik, who is a faithful practicing Roman Catholic lawyer (see Adventist Review, September 17, 1981, p 3), to try and stop any and all from using these trademarked names without permission. Scores of different Independent Adventist individuals were threatened with civil court action.

One of the first court cases to receive public notice occurred in the State of Hawaii. A small 12 member Independent group, pastored by John Merik, were publicly calling their home church by the name of “The Seventh-day Adventist Congregational Church.” So the SDA church contacted Merik and threatened a lawsuit if his group did not change their name. Merik refused.

On December 8, 1987, a federal court order was made in favor of the SDA Church, "prohibiting the defendants from using the name ‘Seventh-day Adventist,’ and enjoining them to remove the sign, and hand over to federal agents all of their personal books, magazines, and other property that contained the name ‘Seventh-day Adventist’” (reported in Pilgrim's Rest Tract, WM 194, 1988).

In 1991, a similar situation occurred in Australia in which the SDA church was suing an Independent group for publishing and distributing "The Protestant"–a paper which contained the truths found in the Three Angels’ Messages. The reason why the SDA church became involved in this lawsuit was because the Independent brethren used the name "Seventh-day Adventist" as being the group responsible for this paper, and they refused to change their name.

The SDA church stated that it "does have a duty to its members and must take all steps necessary to protect and maintain its good name and integrity within the community..." (Letter to Chris Lewin, December 3, 1991 from McCarthy, Palethorpe & Blanch, the Law Firm represent the SDA church in Australia).

In the year 2000, many became aware that the Eternal Gospel Church of Seventh-day Adventists in Florida, which publicly preaches the Three Angels’ Messages, was being sued by the SDA church over the right to use the name "Seventh-day Adventist". The Associated Press report of the first day of this trial is as follows:

"’What we have here is the trademark law being used in a religious context when it was intended to be used commercially,' Pershes said. ‘One particular religion, even if it's a large segment of the religion, should not be allowed to get a monopoly.'

Now most Independent SDA’s do not believe that the SDA church has become Babylon fallen, and thus do not believe in totally separating themselves from the entire SDA system. They desire to remain Independent from denominational control, but still to identify themselves by the denominational name of SDA. But what about those of us who do believe that the SDA church has become Babylon fallen and have totally separated ourselves from the entire SDA system? Should we continue to cling to, and identify ourselves by, the denominational name of “Seventh-day Adventist”? Let us first examine the Biblical principles in this name issue.

There is no church or group name, no matter how sacred or exalted it may be, which can bring any people into any favor with God if they choose to disobey Him--and this includes a name which was chosen by God Himself! This is because God is more concerned with character than with what name we call ourselves by.

A tree is clearly know by what fruit it bears, regardless of what name it is called. A child is clearly known by what fruit or actions they produce, regardless of their family name. And any religious group will be known by what fruits they show in accordance with their beliefs, regardless of what exalted name they may identify themselves with. Thus it will be by what fruits we bear that we will be judged, and not by what name we may cling to!

“Ye shall know them by their fruits....every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot being forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.” Matthew 7:16-20.

“Not by its name, but by its fruit , is the value of a tree determined. If the fruit is worthless, the name cannot save the tree from destruction. John declared to the Jews that their standing before God was to be decided by their character and life. Profession was worthless. If their life and character were not in harmony with God’s law, they were not His people.” Desire of Ages, p 106-107.

A religious name is mainly given to distinguish one group from another, but it is really by the character and beliefs exemplified by that religious group that distinguishes it from every other. And the same with the individual. Jesus Christ was an "Adventist", not because He called Himself one, but because He exemplified these truths in His life (see Medical Ministry, p 49). The Apostle Paul was an "Adventist", not because he ever called himself one, but because he lived these truths in his life (see Spirit of Prophecy, vol 3, p 389). So in turn we are "Adventist", not because we call ourselves one, but because we live the truth that makes us Adventist (see Manuscript Releases, vol 10, p 45, 351, vol 17, p 22; Series B#7, p 49; Ev 121)! Thus it is by following and living the truths contained in our "foundation" and "the whole construction of the faith" which makes us Seventh-day Adventist, and not the name itself!

If a name which God Himself has chosen is to be claimed as the only identifying name of His true people forever, then we should all call ourselves literal Israelites! God personally chose this name to distinguish His people from the heathen nations around them because it represented the truth that they had gained the victory over sin by wrestling with God as did Jacob (see Genesis 32:24:30)! Yet even while they were disobeying God and exhibited fruits of wickedness and corruption, they still continued to identify themselves with this chosen name.

So why don't we literally call ourselves Israelites today? For two main reasons. 1) The apostate church of Israel rejected the truths sent to them by God, and chose to unite themselves with the devil and the other heathen nations around them. Thus the name became identified with apostasy and corruption and, separated from its original meaning, became a reproach among the heathen peoples. 2) If we should literally call ourselves Israelites today, people would believe that we were part of that non-Christian system, even though we would not be, and thus our witness would be made of non-effect.

It was to avoid these two main points that when the followers of Christ in the Christian Movement separated themselves from the apostate and corrupt Jewish Church of Israel, they chose to identify themselves by a completely different name. But what name did they choose to identify themselves by? Did they call themselves "The True Israelites", or "The Historic Church of Israel", or even "The Reformed Jews"? No. They called themselves “Christians” and made the line of distinction plain.

It was for this same reason that when the Reformers in the Protestant Movement separated themselves from the apostate and corrupt Christian church, which developed into the Roman Catholic Church, they did not call themselves "The True Catholics", or "The Historic Catholics", or even "the Reformed Catholics", but they chose a different name in order to distinguish themselves in the eyes of the peoples from the Roman Catholic church.

In like manner, when the followers of Jesus Christ in the Advent Movement separated themselves from the apostate and corrupt Protestant churches in 1844, they did not call themselves "The True Methodists", or The Historic Lutherans", or even "The Reformed Baptists", but they chose a different name which showed themselves completely separate and distinct from the Protestant churches.

But what about today? Should the followers of Christ in this Revelation 18 Movement, who have completely separated from the apostate and corrupt SDA church, continue to call themselves “Seventh-day Adventists”? Is this name beyond reproach–no matter how corrupt the church becomes? Is it really possible that the name “Seventh-day Adventist” can become stained and defiled because of its connection to an apostate church? Yes!

Since the SDA church has chosen to apostatize from God and has become a part of Babylon the Great, thereby bringing this exalted name down from its original meaning and making it a reproach in the eyes of other peoples, should the followers of Christ in this Revelation 18 Movement continue to identify themselves by this name? What has history shown us over and over again? That after all the followers of Christ separated from their corrupt churches of Judaism, Catholicism, and Protestantism, they all chose a completely different name to identify themselves by. These followers of God clearly saw the wisdom of avoiding needless confusion by making the distinction plain between themselves and the corrupt church they had separated from. And so should we!

Christ's followers must be found spending their time, efforts, and money on spreading the Three Angels' Messages, not in the courts of the land fighting for a name of a church which they have chosen to separate from! Brethren, let us be about our work for God in spreading His truth, and not be sidetracked by Satan into spending our time, efforts, and money in trying to cling to an idol. There is no valid Biblical reason why God would desire any of His separated people to spend their time and money in court to defend their right to call themselves "Seventh-day Adventist".

The name “Seventh-day Adventist” has become to many an idol in which they would be willing to go to jail for, or even to die for, just so they can call themselves "Adventist." Instead we should all be willing to go to jail for, and if necessary to die for, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, as well as the right to believe and live the truth as it is in Jesus!

May our separated people awaken and avoid being caught up in spending their time, energy, and money in an unnecessary religious legal battle which has nothing to do with God's will for His people today. May we instead be found living up to the present truth, and expending all our time, energy, and money in spreading this precious message of the Loud Cry throughout the world so that the glory of God may fill this dark world as the waters cover the sea. Then Christ can come to take His ransomed home. Brethren, let us be wise and be doing our Master's work while it is still day, for the night is coming on fast!

Those who choose to continue to call themselves Seventh-day Adventist, or who spend their time, efforts, and money in fighting the SDA church in court for the right to use this name, are thereby showing that they do not desire to be separated from that apostate and corrupt church. They clearly reveal that they want to be identified as being connected with, and a part of, that system of Babylon. And by the way, religious liberty deals with what doctrinal beliefs you hold as your faith and your right to practice these beliefs, not whether you are able to call yourself a "Seventh-day Adventist" as some claim.

But did you know that God clearly foresaw this rebellion and apostasy of the SDA church? Did you know that God clearly understood that the chosen name of “Seventh-day Adventist” would become stained and defiled, and therefore He prophesied that His last day people would be called by a different name?

"I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts...And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord God shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name." Isaiah 65:2, 15.

Since this is true, that the name “Seventh-day Adventist” has become defiled and all of God’s separated people are to call themselves by a different name, what name should we call ourselves by? What name could be more appropriate to use to identify ourselves by than the name “Seventh-day Remnant”?

This name of “Seventh-day Remnant” upholds the Sabbath of the fourth commandment. It brings before the people the subject of the Remnant, and thus opens the way for them to study and understand that God will have a people who will keep all of His commandments, who will follow the testimony of Jesus–or the Spirit of Prophecy (Revelation 19:10), who will have the faith of Jesus, that Satan and all of his agents will make war against them, and that this select group of faithful people are prophesied to appear in these very last days just before Christ comes (see Revelation 12:17, 14:12). Thus this name “Seventh-day Remnant” still upholds God’s Sabbath before the world, but avoids any confusion and negative drawbacks associated with the name of the SDA church.

Now many of our dear separated brothers and sisters have been taught to believe completely different from what has been presented so far on this name issue. And it is for their sakes that we will now take the time to address some of the major objections against the idea of calling ourselves by a different name other than “Seventh-day Adventist”.

But many are now taking their stand completely separate from the apostate and corrupt SDA church. Many are also realizing the “curse” as they see their witness spoiled as soon as they identify themselves as “Seventh-day Adventist” because the people connect them to that apostate church! And many are also awakening to the fact that God is calling “his servants by another name."

For these 13 days we had 3,948 hits, which were generated by 1,535 visitors. In these Visitor Sessions, over 2,500 documents of Present Truth were viewed, and over 156 million bits of information were downloaded.

The Lord is also abundantly blessing our LightMinistries.com Web Site! In the month of April we had 147,284 hits, which were generated by 32,795 visitors. In these Visitor Sessions, 68,747 documents of Present Truth were viewed, and over 11 billion bits of information were downloaded.

"Every opportunity should be improved to extend the truth to other nations. This will be attended with considerable expense, but expense should in no case hinder the performance of this work. Means are of value only as they are used to advance the interest of the kingdom of God. The Lord has lent men means for this very purpose, to use in sending the truth to their fellow men." Testimonies, vol 3, p 208.

You remember ____ the blindman who left me sometimes ago, he's back. I and my wife went to visit him to come back to church, but Sabbath (he) came and gone. I sent my grandson to him to come over, (but) he did not come, we will just pray for him, maybe he is ashamed to come.

Please, thank you for letting me know that the ongoing discussion regarding the issue of the Godhead between yourself, Sameh Wahib, Galal Doss and others standing with them, that it is over....I am not involved with Sameh or Galal in the publication or distribution of their world outreach paper....

To report, I with brother ____ were in ____ early last month. Two people were ordained, children were blessed, eight (8) people were baptized after which we had a meeting with other separated brothers from ____, ____ and some from reformation, whereby we discussed over unity and organization, name of the movement.

The tsunami of the false prophet (Yisrayl Hawkins) of the house of Yahweh, who is based in Texas US, is sweeping many in this country (Kenya). This Yahweh movement has predicted that the world would come to end on September 12 this year. (Editor's Note: No need to fear, the date of September 12 will come and go without any fulfilling of these false predictions because God is not with the Yahweh or Sacred Name Movement!) The members of this religious sect countrywide (about 15000), and (they are) selling their belonging (e.g. lands and livestock) and building mud bunkers where they would seek refuge after warning that the whole humankind would be wiped out by mass nuclear war. According to their prediction, this nuclear war will (be) fought between seven nations; these nations are US, China, Sudan, North Korea, Iran, India and Pakistan.

Beloved friend, now as never before, we must abide in the shadow of the Almighty, and the world of overmastering delusion that will soon sweep the world. Here we are trying the best as we can to warn the people to escape this delusion and to build their faith upon the Bible. It is now a good opportunity despite that we don't have enough tracts or booktexts.

Thought for Today: "My ministering brethren, do not believe that they only work you can do, the only way you can labor for souls, is to give discourses. I switch off the public evangelism for a while, and this time we changed our course for door to door evangelism, and it's our goal for 3 months. And with few boys (workers) we prayed together for the guardians of our Lord to begin the work in the crowded settlements. Most of the people lived poverty lives into the settlements outside ____ city, (and many) opened their heart doors and accept the Lord as their personal Saviour. (Editor's Note: Praise God for His merciful kindness!)

Though most of the families crowding together in small and uncompleted houses, many starving for foods, living unhealthy lives, single laddies and mothers selling their bodies for money to survive and such result, AIDS virus spreading like wild fire, boys involved in criminal activities, robbing and raping, etc., there is nothing and nobody to cool down such evil acts. Satan (is) binding them for eternal destruction. But God has a thousand ways to rescue such people out from the danger.

With the grace of the divine Lord, Holy Spirit has inspired and led us as we entered into those evil settlements with the life saving message. We gave them a Bible studies, encouraged and told them (of) the love God had for them, and prayed together. I encourage many young couples to (become) involved in...this souls saving work. Also we educate them for the coming crisis, and how to keep the Sabbath.

We thank the Lord for some families and individuals made their final resolution to follow the Saviour. We begin from one end and finished on the other end within 23 evenings. The interests continue to grow. Some homes did inviting us again for next visit. During our visit, we distribute only 200 booklets -- Image of the Beast & The True Church of God, with few Jeremiah booklets, but most of the people are requesting of the Pidgin pamphlets.

My wife told me (that) she received 3 booklet boxes last week. She assist me well in posting those booklets in units, tens of with full box, wherever requests come from throughout the nation, but she did not meet all the request because of the limit funds to paid the post office.

She rang me yesterday saying "I received 42 mails (letters) and most of them were requesting for Pidgin booklets and tracts, while others (were) asking for English and Pidgin. At this moment I don't have any Pidgin materials to satisfied their urgent needs."...

____ is an elderly man of ____ (one of the tribal war villages). The whole community recognized him as God fearing man....He served SDA conference church for 30 years...Though he can't read and write, but...without delay, he left the church (in December, 2004) for the fear of some apostasy creeped into the church.

Almost for nine months, he was really struggling to build his own church. He faced a lot of criticisms and persecutions from his former brethrens. They influenced almost the whole community not to accept him. Even his wife and 5 children remain back in conference church, but this does not pull him down....Finally, the church was build and completed with the support of the 3 non-Christian men in September, 2005. I was invited to run the meeting and to dedicate the church.

On the 04th - 11th (of) June, 2006, a meeting was conducted. Though the road condition was very risky, tough and expensive, but we have to go, it's a divine call. I arranged the truck, and we arrived on Monday evening with 11 people (singing group), with our sound system and generator. It took us two days as we traveled from home to the camp-site (28 hours)....Message began the same night.

We thank the Lord and give praise to Him because all through the week, people were wailing and mourning for the confirmation of the truth they were hearing. Some non-Christians and Sunday-keepers were convinced to accept this revival and reformation movement. A volunteer missionary/layman from SDA conference church stood on the pulpit and speak in public declaring his stand to join this last day movement.

On Thursday 8th June, a small church was officially opened and dedicated in front of almost the whole community. On Sabbath afternoon, 6 precious souls were baptized. Two couples from (our) ____ town church were appointed as missionary to take care of God's flock in ____ Laymen church. I was invited again for the next evangelistic program...

The work in Papua New Guinea is not just growing, it is literally exploding! People are coming to know what the Bible teaches, and many of them are following its teachings. This is a good news and at the same time bad news. The good part is that many are coming to know Jesus and what a prophecy of Daniel and Revelation really mean. The bad part is that there are not enough resources to meet the needs in helping these people that are coming in to fellowship. Many calls came from all over the places. Demands are very high and we cannot reach all the areas at the moment. Not because we are weak, tired or lazy. We are willing to move, BUT we need your prayers and more support to reach out to the unreached areas to gather God's people in truth for His soon return.

I pray that the love of God be with you, your ministry and you family ever! I am very sorry for the delay of sending you the report of my work for the month of June. I am also extending my gratitude with my family for the support that we are receiving from your ministry. Thank you so much brother.

I have been in ____ City where I’m doing a follow up work for our new dear brother there with his wife. As for now they are the only family who accepted the present truth message in that City. They are brother ____ and his wife sister ____. I have a schedule to visit them again this coming Sabbath and I pray that God may bless us for this work. May God bless and establish them in the present truth.

I went also to our old brethren in ____ province. I visited a family that was informed to me who was getting weak in the faith. I heard that our brother was in sick, so I brought some natural medicine that I know will help him in his illness. They were happy for my visit. I pray that they may continue serving the Lord what ever trials they may have.

Here in ____, I am continuing my house-(to)-house work for God (and He) is blessing our work in this way. There added again new soul, he is brother ____. At least two weeks straight that he is joining our bible reading every other night in their area. They are brother ____’s neighbor who acted to (accepted) the invitation for the bible study.

Aside from that, sister ____ who was also a new believer was inviting her neighbors too in her area. God is blessing this work; five souls are hearing our message there. My schedule for them is also every other night. For all these works, I pray that God may bless us and the souls who continually participating in the bible studies. May God enlighten them that they may fully embrace the truth that have been presented to them.

I am extending my heartfelt thanks for every financial support that your ministry is giving me. I pray that our loving God may repay your work, you with your family with a blessing physically and spiritually. I pray that God may bless all the supporters of Let There Be Light Ministry.

Our national camp meeting were just over last Sunday and we were all blessed by the Lord. Though we had so many trials two weeks prior to the said date of the camp meeting that seems will hinder us to attend, but still God worked with us and encouraged us not to be affected by it. All the trials we had before the camp meeting God allowed in order that we searched deeply our own hearts and be ready to receive His blessings, not material but spiritual blessings. God showed to us that we should be strong if we want to share strength to others. This is not a time for us to be weakling, but need to be strong in the faith through the help of the Holy Spirit.

All our brethren made an earnest effort to attend to this holy convocation though all have financial problem. Again, we proved that God's hand is not short, He provided our needs during the camp meeting. Some of our brethren in ____, ____ and ____ also attended, and almost all the brethren here in ____ were present. We had also a visitors from SDA's and from Catholic. The study focus on the issue of Separation from the SDA and its reasons. We had also a strengthening message that we need in our present situation and time. You know, just the presence of all our brethren are a great encouragement already plus the message. We all went home refreshed and encouraged to work to the Lord's vineyard. Our time is really short, the world is ripe already for harvest and we all need to labor for the perishing souls....

Thank you for your letter. I am very sad for what is going on right now regarding with some of our beloved brethren and friends. But I know for sure that if these brethren are true children of God, they will come up to a realization of truth. And I am praying for that to happen. But I thank the Lord that none of our brethren here under United Brethren (in the) Philippines accepted that (Godhead) theory. I am praying that may God always lead and guide His church into pure truth and protect from all the deceptive theory of Satan. I know that none of us are ever safe unless we become watchful unto prayer and in the study of His word.

I just sent to you the translation of the tract "These Laws Restore Health". I will send to you also the translation of the 2nd part of the "Fanaticism" as soon as possible after I finish editing it. I know that this booklet is timely now because of the issue regarding on the theory of the Godhead. Sorry Bro Bob for some delay on my work. A lot of problems occurred that hinder me for a while doing my work, but it's all right now. Sometimes satan is making hindrances and giving you problems to hinder us, but thank God that He is always there to fix all things. So please bear with me....

I was able also to share to a very old woman who is more than 90 years old but who still look very strong. She is a Catholic, but open for hearing the truth. We'd been able to talk about the soon coming of our dear Lord, and the reward He will give to those who are obedient to His commandments. I told to her how important for us to keep God's commandments because all our works will be judge by the law of liberty whether our works are good or whether it be evil. We'd also talk about the time that we're living and the kind of people that we have now. I told her that all that we'd been seeing and experiencing right now are just the fulfillment of the prophecy, that we are living in the last days and that it will not be long that Jesus will come.

Me, bro ____, and my two ____, went out to distribute tracts to the people. We started here in our new place and to neighboring ____. We felt very happy and satisfied as we'd been doing it. We also saw to our kids how excited and happy are they as they gave out tracts to people. We told them that if these people will be save, and they will see them in heaven, they will shake their hands and will thank them for the tracts they gave.

The Lord has been good to me, it is wonderful to know the Lord. The days have been very difficult, at times Satan has moved upon the people to cause us physical and psychological disorder. Recently I visited ____, while (at) the ____ park a mad/drunkard moved his carriage wheel-barrow crushed into my legs. He reversed and wanted to charge at me again, (but) it was the people around who I believe the Lord moved upon, that saved the situation. I believe the devil was after something that may be answer back in the same spirit which would end me up in prison, for the crazy guy was of poor health (and) any touch on him would mean death or otherwise. Coming back where I rent a two room apartment, the landlord gave me eviction letter, that he wants to repair his house. And such an hour I have been in a financial crisis, for the funeral and sickness of later half brother had greatly affected my savings. The phone (was) stolen (and) some of Bibles and tapes were also stolen. It has been a great trial which is still going on. The general of this earth (Satan) has still more in store for me, but thanks be to God I still stand though with a lot of physiological hardship.

The Laptop has also been down for over 4 months. I committed it in the hands of the Lord, and today in morning while trying it again it opened, though it may need a few things to be done to. It has lost some vital information, but thanks be to God I can use it some times. It is hard to know how the enemy operates. I have lost (my) phone, then info on my computer. Whatever he is after the Lord will triumph, for He is my Fortress and Strength.

____ took some booklets and tracts (with him on a trip). He his now back in their village were he still stands alone. He also had trials. (He) lost the small job of teaching he was doing because of his faith. The enemy of souls has truly moved upon the people that we have no audience at all, mounting excuses. Time and again I have been displaying Spirit (of) Prophecy books for sale. I got some from ____, but very few people respond. You may sale one book in a week.

Recently in that same discouraging place where people don't understand you, some one whom ____ had given our books came around and some (of) his friends in faith were scanning through to see what they would buy. Then he said if (he) had money I (he) would (send) booklets with Sabbath truth to all the Bishops. This drew the attention of the friends in faith who almost started blaming me for not explaining to them the books I (had for) sale, and yet erstwhile they have prejudiced from there. I started explaining about how Philip discovered Jesus of Nazareth, whom Moses and the prophets wrote about. They were astonished for they had not heard of the things I was telling them in that short time, so determined that they would come back and purchase some those books the moment they get the funds to do so. Much as the enemy tries to shut the doors to the hearts of the people, and knows how he opens up in place were I almost become a laughing stock, the Lords uses for some truth to go home in peoples hearts. We have arranged with ____ that he welcomes some of them in the Church tomorrow to learn more. Hopefully they respond to our invitation.

Hudson Taylor once said "As a rule, prayer is answered and funds come in, but if we are kept waiting, the spiritual blessing that is the outcome is far more precious than exemption from the trial". Not like the Oral Roberts "My life could be over in March...because we're not into agreement to bind Satan's power and loose money that God says belongs to us for our needs to be met."

Elder I’m (in a) dire difficulty. I real feel I should move into the house I’m building. I need your earnest prayers that the Good Lord may open up ways, (so) that I (can) shut it up or put doors and windows and start staying in it. In whichever situation (the house is in) however incomplete it is, my humble request before the One who lives forever (is that I can move in and save money).
